General Information

CCS’ Media Centers are the Heart of the School Image of a Heart

Mission To serve the students, teachers and the entire school community of Cumberland County Schools to ensure that they are effective users of ideas and information.

Our goals are:

  • to assist students in acquiring the necessary skills to become information literate, independent, life-long learners
  • to support the curriculum with a well-balanced collection of both traditional and electronic resources in an attractive and functional facility
  • to provide faculty with resources for their professional needs
  • to develop skills in creative and critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving
